Seattle Girls’ School

LESCHI NEIGHBORHOOD, SEATTLE

Project Overview

Sage Conservation was responsible for comprehensive audit of all fixtures in the school property, scope including a total of 5 buildings. Non-invasive fixture retrofits, and general tune-ups were determined to provide best ROI (estimated 18 months). Outdated toilet pressure tanks’ canisters were replaced and calibrated, aerators replaced, and sub-metering installed on irrigation system to monitor for leaks. Retrofits were installed in two business days.

Water and Energy Savings

Through these simple non-invasive measures, the school is projected to cut water consumption by 40%, and an ROI of 18 months. 35% of water savings is hot water, reducing energy bills by 8%.

Behavior Analysis

Signage was created and installed throughout the campus indicating their commitment to water conservation and giving instructions on how best to utilize specific products. School starts in a few weeks and we are excited to see the impact of this project!
